The K. Gaafaru Island Council has instructed vessel owners and members of the public to clear all personal belongings and items left outside designated storage zones in the island's harbor area.
According to an announcement issued by the Council, any items currently placed in non-designated parts of the harbor must be removed by their respective owners before midnight (12:00 AM) on October 15, 2026.
The Council warned that starting October 16, 2026, authorities will begin removing any unauthorized items remaining in the harbor area. Additionally, the Council emphasized that it will take no responsibility for any damage or loss to items left behind in violation of these guidelines.
