In an effort to streamline essential services for residents under the decentralized governance framework, the Meedhoo Council Secretariat has announced an open call for an examiner to oversee practical examinations for marine vessel driving licenses on the island.
To qualify for the position, prospective examiners must hold a valid captain's certificate and have accumulated at least one year of hands-on experience operating marine vessels since obtaining their license. According to the council, preference during the selection process will be given to candidates who demonstrate practical experience across multiple vessel categories.
