Innamaadhoo Council Invites Bids to Lease Industrial Land for Boatbuilding

The Secretariat of the Innamaadhoo Council in Raa Atoll has announced the lease of a 4,500-square-foot land plot from the island’s industrial zone for boatbuilding, vessel repair, and other industrial activities.

According to the council, the plot measures 45 feet in width and 100 feet in length.

As stated in the announcement publicized by the Innamaadhoo Council, the bidding opportunity is open to registered companies, sole proprietorships, registered clubs and associations, as well as individual private citizens. Interested parties must complete the bid registration form and pay a non-refundable administrative fee of MVR 200 before the registration deadline at 13:00 hrs on Sunday, September 13, 2026. Completed forms alongside payment slips can be emailed to info@innamaadhoo.gov.mv or sent via Viber to 7380052.

The council confirmed that no pre-bid meeting will be held for this project, and the project information sheet will be shared directly with all registered bidders.

According to the Innamaadhoo Council, bid opening is scheduled for 13:00 hrs on Monday, September 14, 2026, at the council secretariat. All proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes bearing the project name, bidder’s details, and scheduled opening time. The council emphasized that only parties with a confirmed registration receipt will be allowed to participate in the bid opening session.
