Hoarafushi Council Invites Bids to Construct Fish Cleaning Platform

The Secretariat of the Hoarafushi Council in Haa Alif Atoll has announced an invitation for interested parties to construct a fish cleaning platform on the northern side of the island's lagoon.

According to the council, the project is open to private contractors who can execute the work on a contractor-financed basis in accordance with the provided information sheet.

As stated in the announcement, interested parties are required to register for the bid before 11:00 hrs on Thursday, September 10, 2026. The registration process must be completed via the official Google Form provided by the Hoarafushi Council, and the council emphasized that only contractors registered prior to the deadline will be eligible to submit proposals.

The Hoarafushi Council confirmed that the final deadline for bid submission is 11:00 hrs on Thursday, September 17, 2026. Bids must be submitted in person at the Secretariat of the Hoarafushi Council. The council also noted that the bid book, project specifications, and architectural drawings are now accessible for download via the Government Gazette.
