Hoarafushi Council Invites Bids to Construct Two Fish Cutting Platforms

The Secretariat of the Hoarafushi Council has opened bidding for qualified contractors to construct two fish cutting platforms on the northern side of the island's lagoon.

According to an announcement released by the council, interested parties can now register for the tender to carry out the project in accordance with the provided information sheet. The council noted that the bidding dossier, information sheet, and project drawings are now available for download via the Government Gazette.

Key dates for the tender are:

• Registration Deadline: Sunday, September 6, 2026, before 11:00 hrs

• Bid Submission: Thursday, September 9, 2026, at 11:00 hrs

To participate in the bid, interested parties must register via the online form provided by the council. The council highlighted that only contractors who register before the deadline will be eligible to submit price estimates.
