Gan Council Revokes Announcement to Lease Land for Fish Processing

L. Gan Council has officially revoked its announcement inviting interested parties to lease plots of land for cooking and drying fish.

According to a notice published in the Government Gazette today, the decision to cancel the August 24 announcement was made because revisions are required in the project's information sheet.

The council stated that a fresh announcement will be gazetted at a later date once the necessary amendments are finalized.

Under the initial call for proposals, the council had opened bidding to lease five designated plots (A3, A4, A5, A6, and B3) on the island for commercial fish processing operations.
