MTI Opens Registration for Navigation Certificate Level-1 Course

The Maritime Training Institute (MTI) is accepting registrations for a new batch of its Navigation Certificate Level-1 course, set to begin on July 25th at the Malé campus.

Approved by the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation, this 150-hour program helps participants secure the necessary licenses to captain Category A, B, C, and D vessels in Maldivian waters.

• Course Fee: MVR 5,500

• Curriculum Highlights: Sea safety, navigation, vessel watchkeeping, and general vessel (dhoni) mechanics/information.

• Eligibility: Open to anyone proficient in speaking, writing, and understanding Dhivehi or English.
