The Kulhudhuffushi City Council has given a 30-day notice to remove abandoned vessels from the city's boat hauling area.
The City Council has given this notice as part of ongoing efforts to arrange for the area to be utilized in the most optimal manner. Under this initiative, vessels that were not undergoing maintenance and were left to decay have previously been removed in two phases.
The Kulhudhuffushi City Council announced yesterday that it will begin the third phase of removing vessels abandoned at the boat hauling area. The announcement stated that 16 vessels are scheduled to be removed in this phase.
