The Maldives Meteorological Service has issued a White Alert for the northern and central atolls, forecasting strong winds of up to 45 mph.
The White Alert is effective from HA Atoll to Th Atoll, between 11:30 am and 05:30 pm.

During the White Alert, winds are expected to blow at speeds of 19 to 24 mph in these atolls. It is also forecasted that winds will gust up to 45 mph during showers, resulting in rough seas.
The Southwest Monsoon has intensified over the Maldives, bringing rain to various regions. The Maldives Meteorological Service predicts heavy rain and thunderstorms in some areas. Over the next 24 hours, winds are expected to blow from the west and northwest at speeds between 13 and 23 mph, with gusts potentially reaching around 45 mph during showers.
