A White Alert has been issued from HA Atoll to ADh Atoll.
Predicting heavy rain and thunderstorms, the White Alert for these atolls is effective from 09:00 in the morning until 15:00 in the afternoon.

The National Meteorological Service stated that rain is expected across various parts of the Maldives today, with showers and thunderstorms likely in some islands.
Winds are forecast to blow from the west and northwest at speeds between 5 to 15 miles per hour. The Met Office also noted that winds may gust up to approximately 30 miles per hour during showers.
Seas will be generally slight today. However, the Met Office predicts they will become moderately rough during showers. Wave heights are expected to be between 2 to 5 feet.
