Water has been pumped out of the cargo boat named "Rasreethi" that began taking on water while moored at the Male' North Harbour seawall.

MNDF stated that the MNDF Fire and Rescue Service received information about the boat taking on water while moored at the Male' North Harbour seawall area around 08:38 today. Upon receiving the information, firefighters from the MNDF Fire and Rescue Service Male' Fire Station went to the area and provided assistance in pumping water out of the boat using pumps. Through the efforts of MNDF FRS personnel using pumps, the water inside the boat was completely pumped out by around 09:51 today.

Furthermore, MNDF Coast Guard divers went to the area and dived to check if there was any damage to the bottom of the boat, and MNDF stated that the inspection revealed no damage.
