Value-added fish product preparation training program begins in Kulhudhuffushi City!

A training program on preparing value-added fish products for commercial sale and managing small businesses has commenced in Kulhudhuffushi City.

Initiated by the Kulhudhuffushi City Council, the Fisheries Ministry began this training program on the 2nd of this month. The Fisheries Ministry stated that a total of 17 participants, including 10 men and 7 women, are taking part in this training, which will continue in Kulhudhuffushi City until February 6.

Participants in this training are taught the basic skills needed to start, run, and develop small businesses. This includes techniques for drying, smoking, packaging, and safely storing fish. Important information regarding marketing and branding of products will also be shared with the participants.

The training program is being taught by technical experts from the Fisheries Ministry.
