Vaikaradhoo to lease land long-term for boat building and repair

The HDh. Vaikaradhoo Council has decided to lease land on a long-term basis for boat building and repair work.

The Vaikaradhoo Council has decided to lease 2 plots of land between the western side of the island's boat hauling area and the goat pen area.

The council has now opened the opportunity for interested parties to submit bids to carry out boat building and repair work on this land for a long term. The council has requested parties wishing to participate in the bid to complete and submit the "Bid Registry Form" before 10:00 on August 17, 2025. The council stated that an information session regarding the bid will be held at the Vaikaradhoo Council Office at 11:00 on August 17, 2025.

Bid submission and bid opening will be held at the Vaikaradhoo Council Office at 11:00 on August 28, 2025. The council stated that bids can only be submitted by parties registered as a business with the Ministry of Economic Development and registered for this bid.
