The Naifaru Council has announced its decision to lease the vacant stalls located on the southern side of the island's fish market.
The Naifaru Council stated that it has decided to lease 4 stalls on the southern side of the fish market for a period of 2 years, and the opportunity to submit bids for those wishing to rent the stalls was opened on the 9th of this month. The Council has requested interested parties to clarify relevant information and register before 10:00 am on the 17th of this month. A fee of 100 Rufiyaa must be paid to register for the bid. The Council stated that bids can only be submitted by parties who register within the given registration period.
The deadline for bid submission is 13:00 on Sunday, April 20. The bid opening is also scheduled for 13:00 on that day. Participation in the bid is open to parties registered under the Business Registration Act. As such, businesses registered as companies under the Maldives Companies Act, businesses registered as partnerships under the Partnership Act, businesses registered as cooperative societies under the Cooperative Societies Act, and sole proprietorships registered under the Sole Proprietorship Act can participate in the bid. In addition, the Council stated that individuals and clubs/associations can also apply for this bid.
Under this bid, stall numbers 2, 3, 5, and 6 on the southern side of the fish market will be leased, and the Council stated that the lowest bid amount that can be submitted for each stall is three hundred and fifty Rufiyaa. The Council also stated that the party to be awarded the bid will be determined based on the evaluation criteria, with the party receiving the highest marks being selected.
