The technical team of the Ministry of Fisheries, Agriculture and Marine Resources established the trolling FAD today, 5 miles east of K. Maafushi. The number of this trolling FAD is I10V01.
Trolling FADs, deployed at a distance between 3 and 6 miles around islands, are specialized FADs for trolling and sports fishing. The trolling FAD is designed with a light visible from a distance and a radar reflector to easily identify its location.
