Trolling FAD deployed off Koda Fehela

A trolling FAD has been deployed off GA. Koda Fehela.

The Fisheries Ministry's technical team deployed this FAD today to replace the one that was lost, in the exact same location as before. Specifically, the FAD was deployed 5 miles east of Koda Fehela. The FAD number is P10V01-01.

With the Koda Fehela FAD, there are now 5 trolling FADs in GA Atoll.

Trolling FADs, established at a distance of between 3 to 6 miles around the islands, are specially designed for trolling and sport fishing. The trolling FADs are designed with a light visible from afar and a radar reflector to easily identify the location of the FAD.
