The FAD was deployed at its previous location, 5 miles west of Kaadedhdhoo. The FAD number is P08V01-01.
With the FAD deployed today, the total number of trolling FADs in GDh. Atoll is 3. These include the FADs established 4 miles southeast of Gadhdhoo and 5 miles southwest of Dhigelaabadhoo in the atoll.
Trolling FADs, established at a distance of between 3 to 6 miles around islands, are specially designed for trolling and sport fishing. The trolling FADs are designed with a light visible from afar and a radar reflector to easily identify the location of the FAD.
