Tonight's Weather: Showers Expected in Some Southern Islands

The National Meteorological Centre has stated that some southern islands are expected to experience showers.

Forecasting the weather until 06:00 tomorrow morning, the Met Office said that some southern islands will experience showers, and thunderstorms are also possible in the area. However, the Met Office stated that the weather will generally be fine in other regions.

The Met Office also stated that seas will be slight across all areas, with wave heights expected to be between 2 to 4 feet.

Winds are forecast to blow from the west and northwest in the central and northern atolls, and from the southwest and west in the southern atolls, at speeds between 5 and 15 miles per hour.
