Thinadhoo Council has given an additional opportunity to households that have not yet collected the canned tuna cases sent by the government as a Ramadan gift for the year 1446.
The City Council stated that even after concluding the distribution of the canned tuna cases to households, they had given three opportunities to households that had not collected the Ramadan gift due to various reasons. However, as it was noted that 113 parties had still not collected their canned tuna cases, the council said a final opportunity has now been given to those households.
The council stated that under this final opportunity, the Ramadan gift will be issued from the council office to households that have not collected it, on official working days between 09:00 and 12:00, until 12:00 on 12 April 2026. The council said the canned tuna cases will be issued upon presenting to the council office counter during this given opportunity to collect the Ramadan gift. The council also stated that canned tuna cases will not be issued after this date.
