The teams participating in the largest sports fishing tournament held in the Maldives to date, 'Burunu Boma', have been introduced.
The teams were introduced during a special event held at the Artificial Beach last night.
A total of 9 teams are participating in this tournament. The teams are Siren of the Sea, Captain Boat Club, Silent Hunter, Baros Maldives, Ifuru, Team Dubai, Malahini, Shuruno, and Dash Maldives. Last night's activities were carried out with boduberu performances by Bidhabin, and also included a big game fishing activity.
During last night's event, an interview given by the Global Ambassador of Sport Fishing, Fly Navarro, regarding this tournament was also shown. Additionally, a high-quality fishing rod was given to a lucky draw winner among the participants of the event.
This tournament, open to international and Maldivian teams, was launched on December 23 last year. The tournament will run from 5:00 am on May 2 to 6:00 pm on May 4.
