Visit Maldives Club has announced that Team Dubai is in the lead at the end of the second day of "Burunu Boma", the largest sports fishing tournament held in the Maldives to date.
A total of 9 teams participated in the Burunu Boma sports fishing tournament, which was also open to international participants and began on Friday. According to the Visit Maldives Club, all teams had achieved their set targets by sunset yesterday. During the tournament, teams caught various types of billfish, which are among the largest fish caught in Maldivian waters. This includes swordfish, sailfish, and marlin.
As of yesterday, Team Dubai was in the lead with 6150 points. Ifuru was in second place with 3000 points, while Captain Boats Club was at the bottom of the nine teams with 150 points.
