Sprats are abundant at the Male' Fish Market, with a pair selling for 10 Rufiyaa today.

Three vendors are actively selling sprats at the Male' Fish Market today. All three are selling at a rate of 10 Rufiyaa per pair. The sprat sellers stated that, in addition to vessels from the Male' area, boats from other atolls are currently docking in Male', ensuring an uninterrupted supply of sprats. Therefore, they said they will continue selling at 10 Rufiyaa per pair until today's stock runs out. Last week, a pair of sprats was sold at the fish market for 15 Rufiyaa. Thus, comparing the two weeks, the price has dropped by 5 Rufiyaa per pair.

The price of tuna in the market has remained stable. Yellowfin tuna is being sold at 40 Rufiyaa per kilo. Skipjack tuna is available at 30 Rufiyaa per kilo, while dogtooth tuna is being sold at a rate of 45 Rufiyaa.

Fish vendors at the Male' Fish Market noted that although fish prices are cheap at the market these days, the number of people coming to buy fish is relatively low compared to other periods.
