A speedboat has capsized near HDh. Kumundhoo.
The Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) stated that the MNDF Northern Area Command, Coast Guard First Squadron received reports around 08:45 this morning that a speedboat travelling from HDh. Kulhudhuffushi to Sh. Komandoo had capsized near HDh. Kumundhoo. MNDF reported that upon receiving the information, a Coast Guard harbour craft was dispatched to the area, rescuing four people from the water. As two of the individuals were in serious condition, they were transported to HDh. Kulhudhuffushi aboard the Coast Guard harbour craft. The remaining two individuals were picked up by a supply dhoni sent by the owner of the speedboat, according to MNDF.
