Special arrangements made for distributing canned fish cases

The Minister of Cities, Local Government and Public Works, Adam Shareef Umar, has announced the locations where canned fish cases, gifted by the government to every household for Ramadan, will be distributed to households in the Greater Male' region starting tomorrow.

While the distribution of canned fish cases in the Male' region began on January 24th, more than 54,000 cases have been distributed as of last night. The distribution of canned fish cases in the Male' region continued until February 11th of this current month. Cases were distributed from 15 centers in the Male' region. Since then, the MIFCO center in Male' has been distributing the Ramadan gift canned fish cases.

In a post on 'X' today, the Minister stated that for those who have not received it due to various reasons, the distribution of canned fish will be carried out every night from 9:30 pm to 11:00 pm, except on the first day of Ramadan and Fridays, at the Ministry's Public Works Fenda and the MIFCO shops located in Hulhumale' Phase 1 and Phase 2.

Gifting a case of canned fish to every household on behalf of the government for the blessed month of Ramadan is a pledge of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu. This is the third year that Ramadan gifts are being distributed in this manner.
