Seven teams participate in the Burunu Boma fishing tournament

Seven teams have participated in "Burunu Boma", the largest sports fishing tournament held in the Maldives to date.

This tournament is organized by the Visit Maldives Club (VMC) of the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC). VMC stated that by the deadline for participation, 7 teams had entered. The teams participating so far are Siren of the Sea, Captain Club, Silent Hunter, Baros Maldives, Malahini, and Ifuru, as well as Team Dubai. While one foreign team has participated so far, foreign individuals active in sports fishing will also participate alongside the Maldivian teams.

VMC stated that although the deadline has passed, teams wishing to participate will still have the opportunity to do so. Teams wishing to participate can register through the website dedicated to this tournament.

This tournament, open to international and Maldivian teams, was launched on December 23 last year. The tournament will run from 5:00 am on May 2nd to 18:00 on May 4th.
