The Rescue Diver course is a program conducted as part of the Ministry's efforts to implement President Dr. Muizzu's policy of having a trained rescue diver on every fishing vessel. While 50 fishermen are scheduled to be trained in the first round of this program, the crew members are trained by professionals who have completed the dive instructor course in the Maldives.
