The Fisheries Ministry has once again announced that it is seeking a party to provide transport for officials travelling to R. Dhuvaafaru to participate in the Fishermen's Day events.
The Fisheries Ministry re-announced the search for a transport provider today because the initial announcement made on November 23 did not receive adequate response.
Re-opening the opportunity to submit estimates for this work, the Ministry's announcement today stated that interested parties are requested to attend the Ministry (Velaanaage 7th floor) with their estimates at 11:00 am on Tuesday, 09 December 2025.
As the period allocated for bid submission is 07 (seven) days excluding Fridays, the Ministry stated that if a public holiday falls within this period, bids will be accepted at 10:00 am on the next official working day after compensating for the closed days once the government reopens.
Further information regarding this can be clarified by calling 3322625 and 3339239.
