The Addu City Council has opened bidding to find a contractor to develop the planned fish market in Hithadhoo, Addu City.
The Addu City Council stated that an invitation to participate in the bid is open to all parties registered to do this type of business. Furthermore, interested parties can purchase the required bid documents from the council office until 14:00 on Sunday, August 17, and participation in the bid requires payment of a non-refundable registration fee of MVR 300, the city council said.
The council stated that a bid security of MVR 9,980.00 must be submitted for this project, and the bid security can be submitted in Maldivian Rufiyaa or an equivalent amount in US Dollars. The bid security is valid for 120 days from the date of bid opening.
An information session regarding this project is scheduled to be held at the council office at 10:30 on Monday, August 18. The acceptance and opening of bids will take place at 10:30 on Tuesday, September 1, 2025, at the Addu City Council office. The council stated that bids submitted after the deadline will not be accepted and will be returned.
