Seeking a contractor to build Dhuvaafaru Harbour shelter

The R. Dhuvaafaru Council has opened bidding to find a contractor to construct a shelter at the island's harbour.

In the announcement opening the bid, the council stated that it is seeking a party to build the harbour shelter in accordance with the information provided by the council, and that the opportunity to submit estimates is now open to interested parties.

Registration is required to submit a bid, and those wishing to register must fill out the bidder registration sheet at the council office by 11:00 am on Tuesday, 04 November 2025. Parties wishing to participate in the bid can fill out the registration form and submit it to the council office reception. Alternatively, it can be emailed to the council office's email address procurement@dhuvaafaru.gov.mv. The council stated that parties who do not register within the given period will not be given the opportunity to submit bids.

The pre-bid meeting for this bid will be held at 11:00 am on the 4th of next month at the council office. The submission of estimates will be held at 11:00 am on the 9th of next month at the council office. The council stated that estimates from parties who arrive after the deadline will not be accepted.
