The Sh. Lhaimagu Council has cancelled its previous announcement seeking a contractor to build a fish cutting platform at the island's harbor area and has re-issued the tender.
In the announcement published today, the council stated that the previous tender issued on 24 November 2025 to submit quotations for building a fish cutting platform at the northern end of the harbor received poor response, hence the cancellation and re-opening of the opportunity.
Under this newly opened opportunity, interested parties wishing to submit a quotation for the work are requested by the council to register before 11:00 on Monday, December 15. Registration to submit a quotation is completed by filling out the "Registration Request Form" issued by the council office. The form can be submitted to the council office or emailed to info@lhaimagu.gov.mv. The council stated that unregistered parties will not be given the opportunity to submit quotations.
The acceptance of quotations will take place at 11:00 am on Thursday, December 18, in the meeting hall of the council office. Quotations can only be submitted by companies registered under the Maldives Business Registration Act and parties registered under the Sole Proprietorship Registration Act.
