Search efforts have begun for a missing crew member of the "Seamex" boat, which was travelling from Addu City to Male' City.
The Police stated that they received a report last night that Raj Kumar, a Nepali national working as a crew member on the "Seamex" boat, had gone missing. The police also said that according to information received so far, the boat departed Addu City around 11:30 pm last night, Raj Kumar was on board when it departed, and he spoke to the boat's captain around 1:15 am.
"Information has been received that it was discovered Raj Kumar was not on the boat while at sea between Addu City and Fuvahmulah City, when they were 8 miles close to Fuvahmulah City," the police said.
