Rough seas are expected in the northern atolls today.
The National Meteorological Centre has issued a white alert for the northern atolls until 02:00 pm today, stating that winds will blow between 19 and 24 mph in the area. It is also predicted that the seas will be rough.
Despite the white alert issued for the north, the National Meteorological Centre states that the weather will generally be fine today. According to the centre, some islands will experience showers today. It is also predicted that seas will be moderately rough in all areas, with wave heights expected to be between 4 to 7 feet.
