The HA. Hoarafushi Council has begun efforts to find a contractor to repair the mooring installed at the island's fish cutting jetty.
The council gave interested parties the opportunity to submit price proposals until 09:00 last night. It is not yet known how many parties submitted proposals by the deadline.
The council stated that the selected contractor must complete the work in the area designated by the authority, using materials of the quality specified by the council. Furthermore, it was stated that the work must be carried out in the presence of a council employee.
