Private companies raise skipjack tuna buying price to MVR 21

Major private sector fish purchasing companies have increased the buying price of skipjack tuna to MVR 21 per kilo.

Looking at today's market prices, Ensis Fisheries, Maandhoo Fisheries Complex, Big Fish, and Ocean Hunters are buying skipjack tuna at a rate of MVR 21 per kilo.

All these companies are purchasing fish at these prices from their main plants. Some companies are also buying fish by sending their vessels to areas with good fishing.
