President Assures Efforts to Resolve Yellowfin Tuna Fishermen's Concerns: BKMU

The Bodu Kanneli Masveringe Union (BKMU) has stated that President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has given assurances that he will work to resolve the concerns of yellowfin tuna fishermen.

Regarding the meeting held today at the President's Office, the union stated that members of its steering committee participated. Furthermore, all general concerns of yellowfin tuna fishermen were shared with the President during the meeting.

BKMU stated that the President listened to them and gave assurances that he would work to bring solutions to the concerns of yellowfin tuna fishermen.

During this meeting, the union congratulated the President for his decision to halt longline fishing in response to BKMU's demands.
