Notice issued to remove sunken yacht in Himmafushi lagoon

The Himmafushi Island Council has issued a public notice to remove a yacht that sank in the lagoon on the western side of K. Himmafushi.

The announcement issued by the Himmafushi Council stated that the owner of the sunken yacht is unknown. The owner has been instructed to share information with the council and remove the yacht within 7 days.

The council stated that if the yacht is not removed within the given period, it will be considered abandoned property and disposed of.

Additionally, the council has urged all vessels travelling through the area where the yacht is located to exercise special caution.
