Despite the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, Foreign Minister Abdulla Khaleel has stated that there are no obstacles to bringing the supply of oil and gas to the Maldives.
Sharing the measures being taken by the government in relation to the war at the President's Office today, Foreign Minister Khaleel said that the work of bringing oil through the State Trading Organization (STO) is being done via Oman, and STO confirmed last night whether there would be any issues with the oil supply. The Minister stated that assurance was received that there are no hurdles in bringing oil, and he gives this assurance to the Maldivian citizens.
