Nellaidhoo Council to construct a building to lease for fisheries-related work

Haa Dhaalu Atoll Nellaidhoo Council has decided to build a special building for fisheries-related work.

Under this project, which the council has decided to carry out as a Waqf project, a building comprising 10 outlets will be built on the island for the business of skipjack tuna, reef fish, and sea cucumber. The council has completed the design of the building and yesterday opened the opportunity for interested parties to submit bids to carry out this work.

The announcement published yesterday by the Nellaidhoo Council, along with all the information about the project, states that they are seeking a party to construct the building using their own materials, in accordance with the information sheet provided by the council office. Furthermore, interested parties are requested to complete the "Bid Registration Form" via the designated link before 13:00 on the 24th of this month. The council stated that only parties who register within this period will be eligible to submit bids.

Bid submission and bid opening will be held at 10:30 on 04 August 2025 at the Nellaidhoo Council Office.
