"My Hulhumale" Fishing Race Kicks Off This Evening With 64 Teams!

The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has stated that all preparations have been made to start the "My Hulhumale" fishing race at 4:00 PM today.

According to HDC, 64 teams are participating in the fishing race, and arrangements have been made to ensure the event is highly competitive and exciting. The fishing race will begin at 4:00 PM today near the Hulhumale Ferry Terminal Park. The race will conclude at 10:00 PM tonight.

HDC has decided to award a cash prize of MVR 21,000 to the first-place team in this fishing race, which features large cash prizes. In addition, HDC stated that a cash prize of MVR 5,000 will be given to the participant who catches the biggest fish, and MVR 5,000 will be awarded to the best fisherman.

The "My Hulhumale" fishing race is an event organized jointly by the Housing Development Corporation (HDC) and Ooredoo Maldives to celebrate 21 years since the settlement of Hulhumale. HDC has also decided to host a "Skate Scape" event at the Hulhumale Ferry Terminal Park specifically for skaters while the fishing race is ongoing. This event is designed to provide an opportunity for rollerbladers, skateboarders, and scooter riders to showcase their skills.
