M. Mulah has decided to lease land for a long term to conduct businesses related to boiling, drying, and processing various fish products.
According to an announcement issued by the Mulah Council regarding this, the island's land use plan includes leasing two plots of land for fisheries sector businesses for a period of 20 years, and the opportunity for interested parties to lease these two plots has been opened starting from the 27th of this month.
The Mulah Council stated that an information session for parties interested in leasing these two plots will be held at 11:00 on September 3. Furthermore, the submission of bids will take place at 11:00 on September 9, according to the council. The council also stated that if a party is unable to attend the bid submission after clarifying information and sends a representative instead, the representative must bring a document authorizing them.
Any Maldivian citizen over the age of 18, local investments, associations, and parties registered as businesses with the Economic Ministry can apply to lease the land.
