MTI to start a new batch of the Niyami course in Male' on the 28th of this month

The Maritime Training Institute (MTI) has decided to conduct a new batch of the Niyami Certificate Level-2 course in Male' City this month.

The course is scheduled to begin on November 28 at MTI's Male' campus. MTI has now opened the opportunity for interested parties to register for the course. Those who wish to participate can register by calling MTI's number 9450555. Enrollment can also be done by emailing admin@mti.edu.mv.

With the aim of facilitating the acquisition of comprehensive expert knowledge and skills, MTI stated that this course will teach marine safety, navigation, vessel watchkeeping, and general dhoni information. MTI stated that anyone who can speak and understand Dhivehi and English, and comprehend the course materials, can participate in this 30-hour course.

This course facilitates obtaining the license required to captain Category-B vessels that can travel up to 24 miles outside the atolls of the Maldives.

The Maritime Training Institute (MTI) is currently the fastest-growing training institute in the Maldivian maritime industry. The institute conducts many technical courses required to develop the maritime sector. These include Niyami Course-1, Niyami Course-2, Marine Mechanic Course, and Crew Course. In addition, the institute provides speedboat driving training and licensing services, as well as obtaining and renewing Category C, B, and D licenses.
