MTI to commence the first batch of Niyami Course-2 for this year on the 15th

The Maritime Training Institute (MTI) has opened the opportunity to participate in the Niyami Certificate Level-2 course after setting the date for the first batch of the year.

The course is scheduled to begin on the 14th of this month at MTI's Male' campus. Interested parties can register for the course by calling MTI's number 9450555. Enrollment can also be done by emailing admin@mti.edu.mv.

With the aim of facilitating the acquisition of fully experienced knowledge and skills, MTI stated that this course will teach marine safety, navigation, vessel watchkeeping, and general dhoni information. The 30-hour course is open to anyone who can speak Dhivehi and English and can understand the course materials, according to MTI.

This course paves the way to obtain the license required to captain Category-B, C, and D vessels that can travel up to 24 miles outside the atolls of the Maldives.

The Maritime Training Institute (MTI) is a rapidly growing training institute in the maritime industry of the Maldives. The institute conducts many technical courses required to develop the maritime sector. These include Niyami Course-1, Niyami Course-2, Marine Mechanic Course, and Crew Course.
