MTI to Commence New Batch of Niyami Course on the 10th

The Maritime Training Institute (MTI) has decided to conduct a new batch of the Niyami Certificate Level-2 course in Male' City.

The course is scheduled to begin on the 10th of this month at MTI's Male' campus. MTI has now opened the opportunity for interested individuals to register for the course. Those wishing to participate can enroll by calling MTI's number at 9450555. Enrollment is also available by emailing admin@mti.edu.mv.

With the aim of facilitating the acquisition of comprehensive expert knowledge and skills, MTI stated that this course will teach marine safety, navigation, watchkeeping, and general vessel information. The 30-hour course is open to anyone who can speak and understand Dhivehi and English well enough to comprehend the course materials. This course paves the way for obtaining the license required to captain Category-B vessels, which are permitted to travel up to 24 miles outside the Maldivian atolls.

The Maritime Training Institute (MTI) is currently the fastest-growing training institute in the Maldives' maritime industry.
