MTI prepares to start a new batch of Niyami Course-2

The Maritime Training Institute (MTI) has announced that it is preparing to start a new batch of "Niyami Course-2" in Male'.

The course is scheduled to begin on the 29th of this month at MTI's Male' campus. MTI stated that interested individuals can register for the course by calling the MTI number 9450555. Enrollment can also be done via email. The email address is admin@mti.edu.mv.

The fee for this four-day (30-hour) course is MVR 2,500. MTI stated that participants must be capable of understanding the course materials and communicating in both English and Dhivehi.

This course, which paves the way to obtain the license required to captain Category-B vessels traveling up to 24 miles outside the Maldivian atolls, will cover navigation, communication, and general vessel information.
