The Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) has urged caution as dredger pipes laid in a lagoon being reclaimed near K. Nakatchafushi are drifting away.
MNDF stated that the 100-meter dredger pipes are drifting southwest of Nakatchafushi towards Ari Atoll.
MNDF has urged those traveling through the Alihuras Kandu and nearby areas to be cautious of the drifting pipes. MNDF also requested those traveling through the area, especially at night, to exercise special caution.
