The Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) has announced that at-sea military training exercises are scheduled to be conducted 07 nautical miles east of Hulhumale on August 11.
MNDF stated that the military training exercises will be held from August 11 to 17, between 06:00 and 17:30 every day, at sea 07 nautical miles east of Hulhumale. MNDF noted that the bullets used in these exercises will travel a distance of 5,000 meters from 7 nautical miles east of Hulhumale, and the altitude of the bullet trajectory will be 300 meters.
To enhance MNDF's military capabilities, a series of military training exercises are conducted at MNDF training centers and in various land and sea areas of the Maldives. Prior to commencing these exercises, advance public notice and announcements are made.
