The Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) has announced that a five-day at-sea military training exercise is scheduled to commence tomorrow.
According to a public announcement regarding the matter, the military training exercises conducted by MNDF are scheduled to take place at sea, 7 nautical miles east of Hulhumale', from April 20 to 24, between 06:00 and 17:30 every day. MNDF stated that the bullets used in these exercises will travel a distance of 5,000 meters starting from 7 nautical miles east of Hulhumale', and the altitude of the bullet trajectory will be 300 meters.
Under a specific procedure, MNDF periodically conducts military training exercises on land and at sea. Prior to holding any of these military exercises, information regarding the event is always publicly announced in advance.
