The MNDF Fire and Rescue Service has conducted a fire awareness session for employees of the Big Fish company based in Himmafushi.
Fifteen employees from the Big Fish company participated in the session, which was held in Himmafushi on October 30.

According to the MNDF, the session covered basic information on the causes of fires, how fires spread, and methods for extinguishing them. The MNDF also stated that practical demonstrations on fire extinguishing were provided, and firefighting skills were taught to the participants.
Additionally, the MNDF noted that Mitsubishi Lift employees were also taught practical fire extinguishing techniques during the session.
Firefighters from the MNDF Fire and Rescue Service acted as instructors for the session.
