MNDF begins naval military exercises in Kanuhura area

The Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) has commenced naval military exercises today in the Lh. Kanuhura area.

MNDF stated that exercises will be conducted from today until the 30th of this month, 5 nautical miles off the northeast of Lh. Kanuhura. Additionally, from the 1st to the 5th of next month, exercises are scheduled to take place daily from 06:00 to 17:30, 5 nautical miles off the northeast of Lh. Kanuhura.

MNDF stated that the bullets used in these exercises will travel a distance of 45,000 meters starting from 5 nautical miles off the northeast of Lh. Kanuhura, and the altitude of the bullets' trajectory will be 500 meters.

MNDF has publicly announced this information for the awareness of vessels traveling through this area and the general public.
