MNDF advises caution as debris floats from capsized landing craft near Thulhaagiri

The Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) has advised caution as a landing craft capsized and sank near Thulhaagiri, causing some of its debris to float adrift.

In a message published on social media, MNDF stated that a landing craft capsized and sank 1.3 nautical miles southeast of K. Thulhaagiri, and urged those traveling in the area to be cautious as debris from the vessel is floating adrift.

MNDF estimates that the debris will drift towards the east of Thulhaagiri.
